We want to hear your feedback on our updated proposals for Light Valley Solar.

You can submit your feedback in a number of ways:

  • By completing our online feedback form, which can be found here.

  • By completing a printed feedback form at one of our events or collected from a CAP site and returned free of charge by post (FREEPOST Light Valley Solar - you do not need a stamp).

  • By writing to us by post (FREEPOST Light Valley Solar - you do not need a stamp) or by email (info@lightvalleysolar.co.uk)

The deadline to provide feedback on our proposals is Thursday 7 August 2025.

Please contact us if you’re not sure how best to provide your feedback, if you’d like a printed feedback form sending to you, or if you have any further questions.

You may complete as many sections of the feedback form as you would like, and please ensure you submit the whole form even if you do not answer all of the questions. 

You do not have to supply personal details; however, it will help us work together towards meeting the needs of the public during the consultation period and enable us to contact you regarding Light Valley Solar. Your personal details will be stored in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) by Counter Context, acting on behalf of the Light Valley Solar Limited and will not be shared with any third parties. We will acknowledge and record all the comments submitted to this consultation; take them into consideration to help inform and shape our proposals. However, we will not be able to respond to you individually.

As part of this consultation, we will be holding a series of in-person and online information events, providing opportunities for the community and interested parties to meet the project team, find out about the proposal and provide their feedback.

Consultation documents

All information produced for this consultation can be found in the Documents section of this website. This includes: 

  • The Preliminary Environmental Information Report (PEIR), a technical document that sets out the initial findings of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) to date and identifies proposed mitigation measures to control or reduce environmental effects the Scheme may have on the environment.  

  • The PEIR Non-Technical Summary (PEIR NTS) – a non-technical summary of the findings and information presented in the PEIR. 

  • A Community Consultation Postcard, which was sent to residents and businesses located in the vicinity of the project 

  • Our Phase Two Consultation Project Information Booklet, which provides an overview of our updated proposals, what we are consulting on, including our Outline Environmental Masterplan, and how you can take part. 

  • Our Phase Two Consultation Feedback Form, which includes a number of questions for you to respond to during this consultation.
